Why should I join Kleenheat Gas?
Kleenheat Gas is the first and only company to offer WA households connected to natural gas a choice of retailers, and an opportunity to save on gas costs.

We've been retailing LPG and gas appliances for more than 55 years and have supplied liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to one in five Western Australians. We are excited to now expand on our legacy as WA’s gas specialists to be able to offer your customers further choice in their natural gas supply.

What happens when I switch natural gas retailers to Kleenheat Gas?
It's simple. We become your new retailer. We use the same natural gas, through the same pipes, using the same gas meter at your home. The quality and reliability of your supply will not be affected, and we will notify your current retailer on your decision to switch to Kleenheat Gas.

Once you’ve signed up , we will process your request. Upon confirmation of your account, we will send you a Welcome Pack, which includes confirmation of your plan and a copy of the Terms and Conditions. Your plan starts from when we accept you as a customer.

If you signed up online, we'll also send you a verification email so that we can set you up with My Account access. You'll need to follow the instructions on the email. Your transfer will be completed and we will start supplying your natural gas on your next scheduled meter read. Remember, meters are read approximately every 3 months. You will receive one last bill from you current retailer.

If you've provided an email address, we'll send you an email notification when the transfer is complete. You can track your account progress online by logging into My Account.
Will I have to pay a fee to sign up to Kleenheat Gas?
No. There are no costs to sign up as a Kleenheat Gas customer.
What are my cooling off rights?
If you are a residential or small business customer and you have signed up to a plan other than the Standard Form Contract you have a 10 day cooling off period to consider your plan (from the day after you agree to the plan or if by phone from the date the plan terms and conditions are received).

During the cooling off period we will not supply you with gas, unless you agree to be supplied during this period – we will ask you this when you sign up. You will be charged for any gas usage and any associated services supplied during the cooling off period.

How do you calculate my monthly instalments under the Monthly Smart Saver?
You must pay by direct debit in monthly instalments. Kleenheat Gas will direct debit an instalment amount each month from your nominated bank account or credit/debit card. Instalment payments will commence from the Supply Date.

For your first billing period, Kleenheat Gas will deduct instalments of $60 each month. Once Kleenheat Gas starts receiving meter reads for your supply address, will take into account your account balance, actual usage and forecast usage based on the time of year and the number of months until your next scheduled meter read date, when adjusting your instalment amount.
